Charlotte Anne Smirthwaite Walker is an artist and surface pattern designer living and working in Cornwall.
Her studio overlooks the beautiful Glynn Valley and Cardinham Woods.
“My husband and I own a small holding in Cornwall where we live with my parents, three cats and nine chickens plus a plethora of moorland animals passing through!
Life on the moors has been an inspiration for my artwork, and portraying all the wonderful things that the county and coast have to offer year round.
I grew up in Cornwall and it’s so much more than just the coastal towns that tourists get to see.
It’s so full of wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Dramatic winds and weather that the moorland has to offer. Secret coves and windswept beaches. A sense of ancient past, present and future.
I truly believe that it’s one of the most beautiful places on earth.... especially when the sun is shining!”
